Oil Medium - Linseed Oils

Oils are used to modify the consistency, gloss and drying time of colour. Using oils can prevent over thinning which may happen when using solvents. Also used to maintain flexibility of paint films when working fat over lean.

Drying Linseed Oil - Darker than refined Linseed Oil. Promotes the fastest drying rate of all the oils. Increases gloss.

Cold-pressed Linseed Oil - Extracted without using heat & dries slightly quicker than refined linseed oil.

Refined Linseed Oil - Low viscous alkali refined oil that dries slowly. Reduces oil colour consistency. Increases gloss & transparency. Add to other oils to slow drying.

Linseed Stand Oil - Viscous oil that slows drying with a tough, smooth enamel finish with no brush marks. Increases film durability. Ideal for glazing & fine detail if mixed with solvent.

Thickened Linseed Oil - A refined oil of syrupy consistency which dries quicker and darker than Linseed Stand Oil.
